Well.....finally got a chance to sit here and update the Blog.
With the holidays and Nashville, our lives were in a flurry. Now, hopefully life will be in order for the time being.
We had a great Christmas and it was so fun watching Gianna open her gifts and get excited! This truly was the best gift for Jason and I.
Her favorite gifts have been her Piano, Rocking Chair @ Noni & Grumpa's, little Gabba and princess figurines, Fridge Phonics and her princess tea set!
Ohh..how can I forget her new DVD player. Now she LOVES Barney! Thanks Mom!
Gianna is almost a year and a half! Boy everone wasn't joking when they said time really flies by when you have a child!!!
She has quite the personality! And is already displaying some terrible two characteristics :(
I swear I never throw anything or stomp my feet! She must get that from Jason :)
G loves copying what her mama and dada do...from silly faces...to laughing...to dancing silly! I need to record some of those in action!
We had a great time up at Shaver Lake for New Year's. Great friends, food and Fun! It was G's first time to the snow! She loved eating it and went down the hill on a sled with mommy and daddy. Good times!
Nashville was an experience of a lifetime for our families.
Whisky Row didn't take home the the trophy or prize money, but had the honor of playing at the original Grand Ol' Opry, The Ryman Auditorium. Jason and Michael have met many contacts, producers and people in the music industry which will aid in opening several doors in their music career.
I will post links to interviews and their performances.
I know many of you do have a facebook or myspace and have seen the updates, photos and videos, but my intention of this Blog is to reach my friends and family who I'm in contact by solely email.
Gianna was not feeling up to par when we went to Nashville, but I must say she did great on her first airplane travels. What a trooper!
She got to discover the Opry Land Hotel and Resort, The Limo Tour and visit to Kix Brook's Winery, Famous Star Homes and A Civil War Battle Field, The streets of Nashville and Broadway, The Stockman for a nice Dinner, and of course watching her daddy preform on the Ryman stage in the CCS finals.
Gianna also enjoyed the Contestant Pre-Dinner and had a blast dancing at the Post Party! Our little night owl!
Thanks for everyone's wishes, prayers, and constant support of Jason's music Journey. I know that this opportunity is just the beginning!
Unfortunately, while we were in Nashville, our first born boy, "Roudy" passed. I was devastated! Especially knowing we were not there for him while he passed. But, maybe it was best. No difficult decisions, not seeing it first hand...ect. He just went to sleep. Roudy just turned 8 in November. He was my first Christmas present from J, the first year we were together :)
Many memories with our Bubba...you'll truly be missed!
Jason and I will be celebrating our third anniversary this next week. We had a nice dinner at Roger Rocka's last night, while Noni watched Baby G. The best present was sleeping in this morning!!!
It only seems like a few years, when in reality we'll be together 9 years in May! WOW!
He is my best friend and the best father to G!
Well..I'm going to sign off now..and try to get some house cleaning done..while my munchie is not here!
Love to Everyone!
